Movies Galore

A month-long sembreak is actually a good time to catch all the movies you can. That's just what I did. So you might as well check what I watched. Here are the best:

1. Flightplan
The best airplane kind of movie since Air Force One. The story is superb because it succeeds in diverting the viewers' attention to the wrong ideas until its ending, cathching them off guard. Horror at first then thriller in the end.

Tagline: If Someone Took Everything You Live For...How Far Would You Go To Get It Back?

Starring: Jodie Foster, Peter Sarsgaard

2. Crash

The best movie I've seen showing racism in America. The "jologs" movie type where peoples' lives interconnect. This will surely bother you emotionally and conscientiously, making you aware of what really is happening outside our contry. It may also change your mind in planning to work in USA.

Tagline: You think you know who you are. You have no idea.

Starring: Sandra Bullock, Katrina Arroyave, Dato Bakhtadze

3. Seven Samurai

Ok. So its Black and White. But if you are trying to look for a movie action-packed and culturally-packed then you won't waste your damn time watching this B/W movie. It runs for about three hours. 2 DVD's actually. It's also subtitled. hehehehe. But its really fun.

Tagline: The Mighty Warriors Who Beacame the Seven National Heroes of a
Small Town
Starring: Takashi Shimura,Toshiro Mifune, Yoshio Inaba

4. Ice Princess
At last! A charcater saying that Harvard isn't everything. This Disney film shows there's nothing wrong in becoming an all-time athlete. It also teaches that dreams are not anyone else's but yours.

Tagline: Big things happen to those who dream big.

Starring: Joan Cusack, Kim Cattrall, Michelle Trachtenberg

5. The Adventure of Sharkboy and Lavagirl

It's basically for kids I admit. But the essence of the story is really true. It's about kids' dreams and imaginations proving them powerful as reality.

Tagline: Smaller heroes. Just as Super.

Starring: Taylor Lautner, Taylor Dooley, Cayden Boyd

That's just some of what I watch. I can't wait for Christmas break now that it's back to school for me. Ciao!@
