Pre Baguio

4 hours left before we board the bus to Baguio and I haven't packed my bag yet cause i like the feeling of being rushed (can almost hear my mom scream).

So no teaching kids for tomorrow (aww)
then , no volleyball until sunday
unless i would like to run after the ball all the way down to Manila from Baguio)

still am not sure if we would be able to tour baguio like the times before, for my parents would be busy at the int'l KFC conference. Let's w8 and see.

.........

here's a painting i did: A tri-color volleyball and a volleyball net
(with the help of crayons, so all i actually did was paint the entire paper with black watercolor hihihi)

haven't hung it yet in my room thus the hand

this past week wasn't a total bummer afterall

first, i was able to complete the requirements for transferring (Thank GOD, they accepted a certified copy of classcards as a sub for the TCG).

secondly, finally finished the piece GONE by Jim Chapell

then, also finished reading Thoelogy of the Body made simple which was a great read and am now finishing Exorcism By Fr. Syquia

(3) I resumed my 5-am jogs hihihihi

(4) i am helping my mom in her summer classes which my two cute cousins are attending i.e. "John paul what sound is this? ba not da, this is b not d"

(5) was able to increase my level in yahooanswers, though points were deducted cause i asked something i shoudn't have asked hehehehe

(6) learned about the broadway musical wicked (haha late na!) and can't get the lyrics off my mind: " i think iiiii'll tryyyyyy defyyyyyyyyyyying gravityyyyyyyyyy"

(7) learned that ESPN will air the FIVB 2007 World League. wahoo!!! astig its about time that volleyball get a spot on TV!

(8) finally, my Aunt allowed me to drive on the highway without any license. Bad. bad. Of course without the consent of my parents. Anyway, i know its so illegal. I just can't wait for my driving lessons sa May

AYAN. BLogablooblahs.

P.S.

Because my mom finally realized that we're old enough to control our tv habits, she (AT LAST!) allowed us to have cable TV--just got it installed last tuesday. Believe it or Not.

After almost a year, i attended a children's birthday party yet again. It was the 5th birthday of the daughter of my dad's cousin, Blessing.
syempre, as it was a kid's party, masaya tignan yung mga bata. Brought back memories from childhood like:

1. I was and am an introvert
2. I didn't want to play in games during birthday parties
3. i didn't enjoy the mascots because i knew better--that there was someone sweating inside that gargantuan costume.

Anyways, i still enjoyed parties as a kid, mainly bcause of the food and giveaways (ehhehe).

what was ironic was that now that i am older ( i believe) mas madali pa akong napilit na maglaro in one of the games. heheehhe. It involved dancing the chicken dance and then bursting the balloon with your butt (MINE MADE such a LOUD SOUND). hihihihihi. Ang saya!
But Blessing needs our prayers for she has a big hole in her heart. At 5 years old, her chance of surviving is small.

............................

then since one of my ninongs and a balikabyan Lola was there at the party, i was blessed with some money. hhihihihi (Syempre no classes no allowance). So here are what i bought:

1. My very first, self-purchased Rosary (best investment ever, i believe).

2. Theology of the Body: made simple by Anthony Percy

3. In Search of True Religion: A Philosophy of religion book

4. A hillsong piano book

... then syempre konting tithings
... was left with a reasonable amount to save though, thank GOD!

After Easter...

I'm almost finished with all the requirements for transferring to UP Manila (applying for Speech Path and Or Comm) but for my 2nd sem grades--which i guess would be releaserd this week.

So, to avoid bummage i have just started by summer-long book and movie marathon. With this, I watched Miss Potter and read A Separate Peace.

Miss Potter is a nice watch about the author of the children's tale Peter Rabbit. It's showed the magic of a child's imagination and that even adults could actually hold onto that magic. Believe me, with all of today's American movies, it's nice to watch an English film and appreciate its story without the influence of sex and violence. Starring Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor.

Then, the book A Separate Peace by John Knowles, set in the secon World War, is about how complex and even evil a child's mind can be. Its a read that will make you think about your own patterns of thinking when you were a child.
