Taxi Night

Grabe from Camp Crame to Las Pinas--45 minutes!

He dodged, overtook, overpassed, honked, and dirty-fingered his way on the road. Cool. Grabe. Astig talaga. Being that I was sitting upfront, it was like watching Need For Speed Most Wanted in its FLESH pare. Astig talaga. The rush was awesome. Of course my mom hated the driver, no surpirise at that (very typical of moms, really).
.....

Had a bible debate with Kuya Ron and kuya Joms of UPSCA.
Enjoyed it.
"Why Catholicism?", basically.
.....

Busy days ahead...

1. UPSCA Team leader training (Saturday)
2. Ateneo SCA VS PSBA SCA VS UP SCA (Sunday)
3. Catechism at Cell every wednesday (Tomorrow pala yun hehehe)
4. Latin Translation (Thursday)

Week's End

As usual, to be able to get to Park Square terminal a late walk around glorietta ended my week. hehe. But suddenly i felt that the person walking towards me seems familiar (Ok so not towards me, simply coming from the opposotie direction). But of all artists who woud have thought that I would see Ogie Diaz in person. I bet my roomates gonna freak when he hears this. hehehe. Weird, gustong gusto niya si Ogie Diaz. hehehe

How I wish I saw any other artist instead.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::

My family went to the 27th Manila Int'l Book Fair last Sunday and like the previous ones it was heaven.

ironically, i didn't buy any "reading" book. But i I did buy a book (2 books actually) of course, however it was 2 music scores--Alicia Keys' unplugged and a mass-songs book. They were so not cheap that i ended up not being able to buy any other book. Pero enjoy naman. Exact music notes at last! Para naman for change, hindi puro intro ng songs (care of musicnotes.com) ang alam ko heheeheh

:::::::::::::::::::::::

not fairing well in Latin calls for desperate measures. And that's exactly what I did.

I crossed dress.

In a pink-tightshittyfitting gown

For I was the virgin sacrifice to a roman godess

HAHAHA!

Fortunately, our prof liked it so much that we got the highest possible score. Ata

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Happy Birthday Mama Mary!

disclaimer: Everything here is FICTITIOUS,

darft! D-A-R-F-T

First time kasi e. Madami ako kagad nakilala... at natutunan tungkol sa mga studyante (first year)

C is for chocolates

mouth-watering reese's--ka-adik!

A YM chat just reminded me of my all-time-second-favorite chocolate in the world (next to snickers classic at least).

I'm not a chocloate fanatic, i can barely finish a cup pf reese's what more a bar of snickers. I just wasn't born with a sweet tooth. But still, giving you my top 7 all-time favorite chocloates is still interesting i suppose. Do i even have the right to have an all-time favorite chocolate list despite my not having a sweet tooth?

1. Snickers classic

2. Reese's peanut butter cups

3. Kitkat chocolate wafers

4. Hershey's Barnone

5.Choc-nut

6. Meiji Macadamia

7. Other Meiji choclates- simply because my dad always brought these chocolates from Japan whenever he had office work there when i was still a kid (pero syempre available na 'to in all leading supermarkets nationwide hehehe).

Anyway ayan na yun... Hope you salivate (yak!) hehehe

THBT kidnapping for ransom is a legitimate negotiation tool in the

August is plainly the challenge of this sem.

Hecks Hezbollahs, and Hamas

Friday PM
I just came home from my new boarding house. Astig diba? "Nag-bo-board" na ako. ehhehehe

Participated in 3 tambay debates last night up to 9 pm and i sucked big time. My standings were like 3rd to last. Heck how am i gonna pass?

Met up with an orgmate and introduced me to Alice's carinderia or sometin in Krus na Ligas where we ate (fried chix, mongo and rice) before i went back to the boarding house. All my roomates were out so i basically was home alone.

...
Saturday AM

Now I am reviewing matter for our first graded debate on wednesday--talk about Hezbollahs and Hamas. Hope to get a high grade or to simply just pass.

Sunday

Adik! Kahapon nga buong araw e. Nakakatakot at nakakakaba.

1st: Oppositon Whip
2nd: Member of the Oppositon
3rd: 2nd speaker of the Opposition (asian)

Buddy bidding

UPDS's buddy bidding is finished at last. I and my partner was able to get a buddy who is free to train at 4 pm onwards. Plus, he was said to be matter loaded. The con is he doesn't have any tournament experience (if i understood it right from the buddy profile).

In the bidding, our strategy was to establish a big increment in the bid. So after a 500 bid we raised it automatically to 2 grand. Wala nang kumagat--not sure if it was a good thing or not. Any ways, Kuya Louie is our new buddy. At least ours was one of the cheapest bids. bargain daw.

What was frustrating was that i didn't know that a mem ate who was my dream buddy (more of a fantasy buddy ehehhe)" was up for bids. Sayang! I didn't realize (kasi naman) that nicknames are not always obvious in people's names.

So that's that.

We have our buddy.

We're going to train. Now its up to us to get inducted as org members--meaning readings and mirror practice Hope so we do

Wrong Shoes

I woke up and got ready. I took a bath, ate nuggets and fried rice, brushed my teeth, picked a red Dr. Martens shirt, pulled onto a polo black shorts, wore my blue jacket, slid on my socks, and then tied my tribal chucks--wrongo! The worst mistake ever.

I totally forgot about the rain. So (without any hard thinking required) even before my sister and i reached the tricycle station in our village, my feet were already wet. I can't believe that i didn't even think about the fact that shorts and chucks on a rainy day is the worst get-up one could be in. With gravity and the storm againsts you, your shorts, and your chucks; your feet are in one major-wet threat.

So, i had no choice but to buy a pair of flip-flops in SC. But imagine, i had to wait an entire 3 hours of wet feet galore before i even changed into dry footwear. Yuck. I mean YACk! And to think that it was apps welcome both in UPSCA (where i'm a resident memeber if ya didn't notice) and UPDS wher I'm currently an applicant.

Fortunately they, my feet, dried up before I went to the UPDS's apps orientation.

Then I went home despite the raging sotrm and the harsh winds. Imagine me wobbling in quezon av's MRT sation's escalator because of the wind. If you just saw me. My umbrella even obtained a fracture. Poor umbrella.

Of coure my day had its happy moments prior to my blogging it. And the happiest part of my day was the fact that i went to 2 pakains! How lucky could i get. hehehe. Maybe I should sign up for more orgs to statisfy my tummy.

Any ways, i think i'll stay hungry forever.

Happy metabolism!

Join UPSCA

May komedi at drama at kakulitan. Kaya lang medyo gamit na ata ang style kaya sub nihil novum sub sole or there is nothing new under the sun.

subjects, oh subjects

I just hate mondays and thursdays

I have no time for lunch, I have five subjects, and I have to stay at school from 8:30 am-7:00pm for my CWTS.

Subjects for this sem are like:

Theater 100 turned out to be a theory class ehich means 12 plays/books to read and 2 plays to critique (1 on-campus and 1 off- campus).

Line Dance is so silly. You dance moves that are so wierd. The hitchhike move, the karate kid move, and the macarena move. Yuck! But to see things in a positive light, it develops your memory because you have to memorize the steps in seconds. Someone told me it would get
harder by the level and since were only in the first, let's see what's next.

CWTS 1 CS Geol is like values education--ok.

I can't believe that my professor in Speech 115 (the former vice chancellor of UP Manila) is my orgmate--COOL! She asked us to look for 5 journals (critque all 5) on assigned topics for only a week. Internet journals are NOT allowed--NOT COOL!

Speech 111--ask me about the general rules of pronunciation and you'll surely be in awe that thousands of words are mispronounced in the Philippines, like "triangle" is accented on the second syllable and not on the first. Yup!

NatSci 1 is Natsci 1.

Speech 130 is picking up its pace on the discussion of ancient rhetoricians, starting with the great, the geek, Aristotle!

Latin is becoming harder and harder by the meeting. Good thing the prof is really not boring.

There go my subjects--plainly hard! Too bad people think that speech majors only speechify--so callow.

Speech Path VS Speech Comm

Nakakalungkot.Nakakaasar.Nakakatamad. Nakakalito.

Nakakalito.

Labo!

Summer's update

Dallas made it past Spurs! whoo! nice for them to put Nowitzki to forward from power forward giving spurs a hard time guarding Dirk. Phoenix and Dallas up next! Hope Dallas would win.

I can't believe that my very first recital is already finished. It was Nerve wrecking, especially since my fingers slipped at the very beginning of my recital piece ("Chaconne" by A. Durand). There was this girl younger than me that played a beautiful piece entitled "The Wanderer" by Mendelssohn, and she really played it superbly. My piece was relatively easy--a fourth grader actually. I just felt bad that my brother and I weren't able to play a duet because I like to play accompaniment to his violin better than performing alone. Plus, accompanying gives you the right to your own rendition of a music piece. Well that's that anyway.

The Philippines has just been worldwidely acclaimed recently for givng the Da vinci code an R-18 for a rating.. It's a shame that Filipinos are hyping the novel/movie (not only the christians but also the non-christians). Shame, shame.

I Did a genearal cleaning of our room this morning and I realized how scattered my things are.

The HIPPIES won the Amazing Race (almost forgot about that)! Amazing Race 9 just boiled down to a brain game--remembering and arranging the flags of countries the racers visited in the race. I just love the hippies' defying the norms. They even pulled a trick on the "frat boys"--who were winning with their physically fit bodies but lost because they didn't know what the Thai flag looked like--in excahnge for the trick the frat boys pulled on them earlier in the race.

GO Hippies! You deserve the money.

Well, since the Da vinci is R-18 (and since i respect ratings) I and my family will be watching X-Men 3 tonight. can't wait to see psylocke and archange.

I just finished my CSI marathon up to season 5 so i guess i just have to stick to AXN's delayed season 6. Too bad America just finished season six last May 18.

I was able to watch the FIVB World Grand Prix yesterday, and italian vollyebelss are just the bomb! Though

they lost to Netherlands.

Now that's an update...

BYE!

My Parenthetical Entry

check my new layout(i suppose that's what you're doing right now)

The incredibles...yup! i can't wait for incredibles 2 (which may be in the works)

I have a recital on May 20. A recital i was suppose not to attend due to summer classes
(my first actually--I dodged every potential recital throughout my music life)

Won't be able to attend a friend's debut (i feel so bad, really :C)

Is there really a one true self? (doing my think piece in sociology)

(5x+6)^(0)

who cares? (500 crunches, 3 sets tomorrow)

cool! [friends, CSI (not miami and definitely not new york), *a**** ***a*]

seeya! (adiós, adeus, au revoir, αντίο, arrivederci, vaarwel, paalam, Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye,)

I found out that i only got an 89 (percentile) for language in my UPCAT. ANd all the while i was thinking of it as my forte.

Weights and dates

150...
225...
300...
450...
CRUNCHES!

weight training as PE for summer means instant body pain. Imagine doing crunches everyday with number of reps increased daily. I realized that I cannot even carrya 50-kilo barbell. I can't even do a single (yes, A SINGLE!) PULL UP. To think that i will be needing a minimum of three reps to get a 3 in my practicals

WHOO!

My PROF in a GE is so damn hot. From the way she speaks, to her beliefs, and of course to her
drop-dead-gourgeous body. Too bad that i just hate the subject she is teaching. On the other hand, never did i yawn in her class (maybe 'cause i'm stunnedÜ). Can anyone set us up? is dating a prof even allowed in UP?

WHOO!

Summer is hot, too hot for me actually. Both of y subjects adds up to the heat. PhYsIcAllY! GREEN GREEN GREEN.

summer is green. to green for me.

Post Barrio! (pix to follow)

>>after 7 and a half days of living in Cabangan, Zambales, I am finally home. Not that i did not like my stay in Zambales, on the contrary, i have already learned so much that i cannot wait to share all my experiences with my own family.

>> The family I stayed with during he barrio work was so accomodatingly warm
It includes: tatay Aladin
nanay Fe
kuya Arnold
kuya Allan
Anthony "kaka"
Ferdinand
Beverly
and my cute and affectionate cousin/neighbor Ojin (3 yrs old)

>> they taught me almost everything they do for work and for fun!
My brothers even allowed me to join them in one of their "laots"
Fortunately, i was able to catch 4 fish (yehey! unbelievable)

>>But of course, problems was part of my being family.
1. We experienced a ZERO catch on one day whcih really made me feel bad

2. Then, the BUMBAY became my enemy for he was

3. at our house every morning trying to make my nay pay him.
i know my nanay really had a debt. But I hate the bumbay still!

4.There were also some minor family conflicts but were nevertheless solved.

5. Since i grew more attached to my family day by day, the hurt i felt for the family whenever we have problems (especially on finance) was also grwing stronger daily.
Like when my youngest brother didn't have money for the entrance fee to the bvasketball game, and the depreciated value of the similya we often sold to the "bayan buyer"

>> Whoo! I miss my family now that i'm reminiscing, especially my brothers whom i shared many of experiences with: like pangangasoy, connivng at the ice cream vendor to obtain his goods (katuwaan lang!), pangangamote, taking shortcuts on bukids, disturbing sleepy carabaos, serious work, stories about ghosts, lovers, and buhay maynila, and gazillions to list.

>>The barrio work was the best week of my life! It even taugfht my feet how to walk longer distances ( like from the bayan to the barrio!)
>>I learned so many things, which includes words such as:
1. Turu-turo
2. sensuro
3. ambay
4. pala-pala
5. sigay (lambat)
6. kwatro kantos!
7. alak san
8. similya (bangus at its baby form)
9. Pudpurang-labi (hahahaha)
10. blah blah blah!

>> also tasted so many fruits!:
1. karamay
2. sinegwelas
3. camachile
4. kasoy
5. mangga
6. caimito
7. Guyabano
8. camote
9. langka

......................
...We said our goodbyes to our families and tears started to wet my nanay's cheeks. I embraced her for all the things she taught me.

...

After the barrio work, our cell phones and money were returned to us. I felt indifferent to them that holding my cell phone and money felt awkward. I was able to live for 8 days without them, I realized.

There are so many things in this experience that I want to share.
I just can't because reading about it would probobly bore you,
narrating them personally is so much better.
So, catch me if you want to know!

BYE! I'm not even used to typing already after the barrio work! hahahhah

( too bad i failed to get drunk (",) )
HOPE EVERYONE CAN TRY THIS EXPERIENCE.
IT 'S YOUR LOST IF YOU DON'T BUT CAN

Do good. Live simply.PRAY. ((<<--DGLSP!-->>))

Migrating Out of US

Nakakhinayang!

Hihihihhi.

UP FAIR!

My friend and I asked for a sign-3 toki jeeps before an MRT one.

What was the sign for? Well, we decided that if the sign ever showed then we will have to watch the UP fair. The sign did came.

With our UPSCAN friends, we went to sunken garden at qurter to ten. Unfortunately, what met our eyes was a long line waiting to enter. So we decided to just sit in the sunken (sinking supposedly according to Kuya GT) garden and talk about whatever things (The conceert can be heard from our place anyway). Rigel( a new philosopher friend/orgmate) and I talked about so many question I had in my mind at that time, like:

If God already planned our lives, what the heck is free will for?

Given that a bombsite was already panned by God, does it mean that all the people at that time are meant o die?

We also talked about speculative thought (subject pala to), catergorical imperative, utalitarianism, and so much more.

It was one of the best conversations I had for for the month of February. Cool!

From the movie JUST LIKE HEAVEN to the upcoming novel of Dan Brown about masonry, we talked and conversed for 3 hours. That was until we decided to go to McDo Philcoa and spend the time there waiting for the 5:30 trip of the MRT. Here, we ordered fries and Milo to keep us awake. Then, we made a map of UP for the programme our orgmate was making for the Papuri concert(nood kayo).

Then, one of the most philosophical human being i've ever known shared to us some excerpts form the koran intersecting it with the Bible, dead sea scrolls, satanic Gospels, and so much more. It just made me so keen to take Philo 172 (Philo of religion).

And then for the first time in history, I rode a 5:30-southbound mrt train. Astig. Walang tao.
Plus, it was my first time to experienc the "inumaga syndrome." COOL!

Definitley one of my most exciting (i love conversations and debates) days with my orgmates even if im still an app.

Kabadong-kabado

Napa-encouraging nila (or nagkukuwari lang yata sila heheheh).

Bayan Umawit
Alleluia (wikain mo)
I will sing forever

Astig talaga.

Gloria and Manny

Before...

Gloria: Hello garci?

After: Hello Manny?

Hehehehe.

Ito kasing dalawa lang ang madalas kong kainin nowadays kasi nakakatuwang iprepre yung footlong on your own

cge

ka-kain na ako.

Onga pala... nag MUCHO pa si First gentleman kay president Glory in international TV. Iba talaga tayong mga Pinoy

Mica Mics

The word reminiscing is such a cliche that it hurts my ear whenever i hear it.

Mica's birthday was a reminiscing moment. I reminisced on High school days, bus-friends days, maggots-in-your-sapaghetti days, senseless-roundtrips-with-sensible-friends days, sleeping-in-the-service days(nights pala) and other more days.

The debut was really fun. Even with only 9 of us, Maskians , we did enjoy it. The party popper even went straight to us mascians when i opened it. Too bad!

Hi MICA! Happy Birthday.

I reminisced on the mica-louise-jm-and-sometimes-with-other-bus-friends roundtrips that are really fun since we get to extend the talk-time we have on the bus.

I reminisced on Mica's fingers making their way on the guitar (with of course the one with the electronic dictionary). Mica's finngers did grow by the way.

I reminisced, I reminisced, I reminisced.

Bottomline: I hate the word reminisced, but what can I do? Mica yun e, friend since 1st year.

Bye!!

Defamiliarizing a Familiar

Guess what is being referred to by each of the stanza and then ask me if you're correct. (",)
jmraveangel@yahoo.com

A Martian Sends a Postcard Home
by Craig Raine

Caxtons are mechanical birds with many wings
and some are treasured for their markings--
they cause the eyes to melt
or the body to shriek without pain.
I have never seen one fly, but sometimes they perch on the hand.

Mist is when the sky is tired of flight
and rests its soft machine on the ground:
then the world is dim and bookish
like engravings under tissue paper.

Rain is when the earth is television.
It has the properites of making colours darker

Model T is a room with the lock inside --
a key is turned to free the world
for movement, so quick there is a film
to watch for anything missed.

But time is tied to the wrist
or kept in a box, ticking with impatience.

In homes, a haunted apparatus sleeps,
that snores when you pick it up.
If the ghost cries, they carry it to their lips and soothe it to sleep
with sounds. And yet, they wake it up
deliberately, by tickling with a finger.

Only the young are allowed to suffer openly.
Adults go to a punishment room
with water but nothing to eat.
They lock the door and suffer the noises
alone. No one is exempt
and everyone's pain has a different smell.

At night, when all the colours die,
they hide in pairs
and read about themselves --
in colour, with their eyelids shut.

note: This poem is not in its original form. My teacher in English 1 just arranged them in stanzas for her students to have an easier time decoding the poem (defamiliarizing famliar, ordinary things actually hehehehe).

Bye!

NAISIP MO PANG MAG_COPY PASTE?!!

The boat is sinking

Alam niyo ba?

at nanood. Eto ang nakita ko:

alam niyo naman yung the boat is sinking diba?

emcee: Group yourselves into 5!

kids: (screams and shouts!) Ahhhhhhhhhhh... bilis! bilis!
Halika tayo na mag-group...

emcee: ok. sorry for those who do not have a group,
you may now sit down.
Next. Group yourselves into 3!

kids: (screams and shouts!) Ahhhhhhhhhhh...bilis! bilis!
Ikaw na lang ka-group ko...

emcee: uhhhhhhh...sorry, you may now take your sit
Next. Group yourselves into 2!

kids: (screams and shouts! One kid losing one of his shoes
while crawling in the game floor.)

emcee: Ok. balik na sa place, walang na-out.
Next. Group yourselves into...1!

kids: ( panicky faces, screams and shouts again!)
Ahhhhhh sino ka group ko? Bilis sino? Sino?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh... mommy sino po?
Ay! ako lang pala kasi group yourselves into 1!

Di ba komedi? mas naktutuwa yan kapag nakita niyo talaga hehehehe!

bye!

Speech 100

Ok. Speech Communication Majors are dubbed to be “speechifyers” (a term I learned from my Prof) thinking that they study the course just to talk. Some even think that we are call center agents in the making. Who cares? Try to take my major classes then let’s see if you’ll still think of it that way. I can’t blame you though, since only a few of us really chose the course whole-heartedly.

…Melodrama ends here. hehehehe !

Pronunciations I learned from my Major recently:

You have to pronounce these words with the stress on the first syllable. Weird at first, sounds better the next time. (take it from someone who practiced saying them during travel hours- in the bus and MRT, causing him to receive Baliw-ka-ba stares)

Categorize
Comparable
Rhetoric
Allegory

Then, when my teacher asked for a type of language I’m interested to study in my thesis, guess what I answered?

Hehehehehehehe.

I was trying to take out malice form the topic but I think I failed because the teacher gave me a seryoso-ka-ba stare. I was able to redeem myself though, through my explanation.

I answered language during sex.

Seriously, studies show that verbal and non-verbal expressions one use during intercourse shows that persons personal background. Believe it or not!

Punctuation studies ANSWER

That that is, is. That that is not, is not.
Is that it? It is.

Ayan ang sagot. Parang weirdo no? pero totoong philosophical concept iyan.

ORG ORG ORG

Malapit na akong
magkaroon ng ORG:

UPSCA: University of The Philippines Students Catholic Action.

Madami talaga akong ginagawa

Basta may makita, mabasa, o masiwalat

Heto, at aking iisa-iisahin at subukan niyong bisitahin

Baka 'pag akoy umubo, malaman niyang wala akong pinaghirapan

Miss: Ano?

Ikaw: Yung Breast niyo. Masarap yun e!
Malaman at tama lang ang tigas.

Miss: Bastos!

hehehehehehe!

KAILANGANG PA BANG ISUMMARIZE YAN! Love Radio

Movies Galore

A month-long sembreak is actually a good time to catch all the movies you can. That's just what I did. So you might as well check what I watched. Here are the best:

1. Flightplan
The best airplane kind of movie since Air Force One. The story is superb because it succeeds in diverting the viewers' attention to the wrong ideas until its ending, cathching them off guard. Horror at first then thriller in the end.

Tagline: If Someone Took Everything You Live For...How Far Would You Go To Get It Back?

Starring: Jodie Foster, Peter Sarsgaard

2. Crash

The best movie I've seen showing racism in America. The "jologs" movie type where peoples' lives interconnect. This will surely bother you emotionally and conscientiously, making you aware of what really is happening outside our contry. It may also change your mind in planning to work in USA.

Tagline: You think you know who you are. You have no idea.

Starring: Sandra Bullock, Katrina Arroyave, Dato Bakhtadze

3. Seven Samurai

Ok. So its Black and White. But if you are trying to look for a movie action-packed and culturally-packed then you won't waste your damn time watching this B/W movie. It runs for about three hours. 2 DVD's actually. It's also subtitled. hehehehe. But its really fun.

Tagline: The Mighty Warriors Who Beacame the Seven National Heroes of a
Small Town
Starring: Takashi Shimura,Toshiro Mifune, Yoshio Inaba

4. Ice Princess
At last! A charcater saying that Harvard isn't everything. This Disney film shows there's nothing wrong in becoming an all-time athlete. It also teaches that dreams are not anyone else's but yours.

Tagline: Big things happen to those who dream big.

Starring: Joan Cusack, Kim Cattrall, Michelle Trachtenberg

5. The Adventure of Sharkboy and Lavagirl

It's basically for kids I admit. But the essence of the story is really true. It's about kids' dreams and imaginations proving them powerful as reality.

Tagline: Smaller heroes. Just as Super.

Starring: Taylor Lautner, Taylor Dooley, Cayden Boyd

That's just some of what I watch. I can't wait for Christmas break now that it's back to school for me. Ciao!@

Happy Halloween

Angal?

Adik talaga. Huwag niyo akong tularan. Pero masaya ma-adik di naman ito ang first time na na-adik ako. Napaisip pa nga ako. Ganito rin kaya ang adik sa droga. Masarap kaya? Masaya kaya? hehehehehe.

Quotable Quote 1

I am currently finishing this position paper I have to pass tomorrow. And this interesting qiuote is part of it:

The familiar picture of Jose Rizal studying by the light of an open fire can hardly be compared to
the modern Filipino youth doing his homework by the flickering light of his television set.”

from “The Educator,” a professional magazine for teachers

Amoy luma at amag at mabahong medyas. Hehehehehehe.

Wala munang squid balls, chicken balls, at kikiam. Wala munang skinless longanissa at tapsilog. Wala pang C2 o kaya’y free tubig. Hay! Nakakaiyak naman.

Saturday Brothers

JACK
Jammed by the saturday-sickness (no assignments finished despite its urgency and the wAnt to finish them during saturdays) I end up in bed watching this 8:40 pm "you-better-watch-show". Yes, it may it may come a little bit cheesy, but the story is the most sensible, in terms of morality-fiCtion, in TV today. About brothers with a pot-smoking mom, it deals about teens, friends, family, the academe, and other issues that happen to most people. Though the setting is situated in America, watching it will make you feel at home with the show and will find yourself nodding in appreciation of the concepts Knocking on your head.

And

"On each episode, "JAck & Bobby" follows this young boy who will one day be President. Needless to say, the boy has No idea of his destiny. But the audience does. Set in the current day, the show uses flash-forward interviews with the future President's staff and confidantes to show us the greatness this boy will one Day find. From boyhood, to the world's most powerful man. It's an idea we've gotten away from, especially in these volatile times. But it's an idea Brad and Steve were determined to bring us back to: the simple American concept that anyone can be President.Welcome to "Jack & Bobby."" (Meltzer, co-creator of Jack and Bobby)

Bobby

From understanding the repuBlicans and the democrats to understanding what asthma can do to you, you'll find every episOde sensiBle, usefull, not so dramatic, and interesting. It runs for about 45 minutes, that every commercial in-between will seem to be shit. After watching, you'll find yourself stuck in front of the tube on Saturdays. You'll be stucked with it in anticipation on who of the two brothers will become America's next president.
